MCHK Disciplinary Inquiries - Defence Solicitor

In 40 cases found guilty, according to MCHK open documents from year 2015 to March 2018 [reference 1],

• Two major defence solicitor companies are Howse Williams Bowers (17) and Mayer Brown JSM (12). 
• Six of them are from other defence solicitor companies, namely Raymond Chan, Kenneth Yuen & Co. Solicitors (1), CHOW, GRIFFITHS & CHAN Solicitors & Notaries (1), TUNG, NG, TSE & HEUNG Solicitors (1), Francis KONG & Co., Solicitors (1), Kennedys (1) and Rowdget W. YOUNG & Co. (1). 
• Five of them did not have representing defence solicitor.

Chairpersons of the inquiries were LWYJ (26), LMF (12), HPL (1) and HCP (1).

Limitations:

Cases of not guilty are not included as open documents not available.  Please note that we only have cases without control group.
